Dec 24, 2009:Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and DMK president M Karunanidhi is likely toleave for Bangalore today for a brief stay, reports said.Quoting a senior official in the State government, a report said thatthe octogenarian would leave for the capital city of Karnataka onThursday. It is to be noted that Karunanidhi would stay in hisdaughter elder daughter Selvi’s house in Bangalore once in a while totake a small break from his routine.

Meanwhile, reacting to the DMK’s thumping victory in the bypolls heldfor Tiruchendur and Vandavasi constituencies, Karunanidhi said onWednesday people voted in large numbers in both the consitituenciesimpressed by the good work of the DMK government.
