Feb 9, 2010: Union Minister for Shipping G K Vasan on Monday said the Ennore-Manali Road Improvement Project and the Maduravoyal Elevated Expressway would be completed within two years.

Speaking to reporters after he reviewed the projects in Chennai, Vasan said all issues relating to the projects were discussed comprehensively.

“The Ministry of Shipping is taking all steps to accord the necessary approval to Chennai and Ennore ports to expedite the implementations of two projects,” he said. State Highways Minister Vellakoil Saminathan was also present.
