Mar 10, 2010: Tamil Nadu Governor Surjit Singh Barnala’s son Jasjit Singh Barnala has been nominated as a games village sub-committe member of the Commonwealth Games 2010.

An official press release said on Tuesday that Jasjit’s name was nominated by Suresh Kalmadi, MP and Chairman of the organising committee of the Commonwealth Games, which is to be held in New Delhi from October 3 to 14.
