Mar 10, 2010:Tamil Nadu Agriculture Minister Veerapandi S.Arumugam has accused AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa of being unable to stomach the achievements of Chief Minister M Karunanidhi.

Responding to Jayalalithaa’s Tuesday statement objecting to the unveiling of the portraits of Karunanidhi in the old and new Assembly halls, Arumugam that the resolution was unanimously adopted and leaders of various political parties called him and appreciated his proposal.

“Jayalalithaa is not able to digest the Chief Minister’s achievements, including the creation of new Assembly-Secretariat complex, Asia’s biggest library and holding of the World Classical Tamil Language Conference,” he said.
